About Us
Since 2011, Modern Eyez has been the leader and preferred provider of quality vision care products and personalized optometric services to our patients in West Linn and the surrounding areas. Our experienced doctors and staff offer comprehensive vision examinations and specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of eye diseases, conditions, and problems.
In the summer of 2019, Modern Eyez merged with Advantage Optical, originally located in Oregon City. This move was made to better serve our patients from our Oregon City location as the West Linn location offers convenient parking, modern facilities and equipment, and a great selection of eyewear. It also enabled our staff to commute less.
In our mission to provide the best eye care services possible, our doctors use advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and eye care products. Meet The Eye Doctor At Modern Eyez
Our eye doctor takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision problems.
Dr. Munoz was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. She moved to Oregon in 2005 to attend Pacific University in Forest Grove where she completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry.
She completed her clinical internships at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center – a military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, Optometric Vision Development Center – a Vision Therapy Clinic in La Jolla, CA, and Lebanon VA Medical Center – a veteran’s hospital in Lebanon, PA.
Dr. Munoz knew from a young age that she wanted to work in the healthcare field and enjoys being able to work one on one with patients. During her time at Pacific University, she participated in multiple eye care mission trips providing eye care to communities that do not have regular access to care in Honduras, Costa Rica, and the Philippines.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Munoz enjoys spending time with her husband, their 4 children, and 2 dogs. They love spending time outdoors – biking, going for walks, and visiting the coast.
Meet The Staff
Jennifer Brandeberry has over 25 years of experience working in eyecare. She loves working with patients to find frames that are comfortable and flattering. Jennifer grew up in Portland and is a huge Blazers fan. She loves spending time with her dog Ollie and her niece.
Vanessa Wesley-Salas really enjoys the technical aspects of lens design, lens materials and using the highest quality products to maximize each person's visual experience. She is artistic, creative and specializes in making custom cheesecakes. She enjoys spending time with her son and extended family.
Ana Hernandez has been in the optical world for over 10 years. "I enjoy helping patients and being part of a team at Modern Eyez. I have two wonderful kids, and two pet turtles. I spend most of my weekends at soccer events with my children, and spend the rest of my time with my extended family."
